Congratulations Spring 2024 Terp graduates!

Spring 2024 degrees will post to transcripts on June 11, 2024. At that time, you will be able to view your degree(s) on your unofficial transcript and request official transcripts or degree verifications as proof of graduation. Diplomas are mailed approximately 4-6 weeks after degrees post.

Summer II Residency Petition Reminder

For all residency reclassification petitions:

  • Students must be registered for the term/session for which they are seeking reclassification, and 
  • Petitions must be submitted by mail or in-person; Electronic submissions will not be accepted.
SUMMER II:The deadline to submit a completed residency reclassification petition and all supporting documents is July 8, 2024 at 4:30 pm.
FALL:Residency reclassification petitions for Fall 2024 will be accepted from June 4 to August 26.

Taking Courses at Another Institution

The transfer course database is continually being updated. If you are a current undergraduate student looking to take classes elsewhere, make sure to check the transfer course database and follow your college's Permission to Enroll process.

Register for Summer Session

Make progress and earn UMD credits through flexible 3- or 6-week sessions. Learning options include in person or online. Current UMD students simply register. All other students must first apply.
